Nestor University is holding the first seminar to support the newly initiated project “Turbulent Business Markets”. The seminar will take place on 8th May, 2017 at Hilton Hotel, California. The seminar will focus mainly on the importance of communication in business and how to communicate effectively. Effective communication is the key to successfully conduct business. In this seminar, we aim to provide tools through which you can communicate effectively and how miscommunication can lead to disruption in the business market.

We shall begin the morning session with Andrew Symonsni and Loher Peelie from Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton and Ahmed Swaleya from Apple, who will impart knowledge and firsthand experiences about the basics of communication with the help of presentations. The afternoon sessions will focus elaborately on the 7C’s of communication and how they can be implemented in daily lives in our workplaces. Presenters include Dr. Adam Hugh from Nestor University, Dr. Lim Jui, CEO of NTU Innovation in Singapore and Ben Shaw of CIC in the USA. These speakers will also focus attention along with practical examples of what can go wrong in communication and what effects will it bear on the business. The seminar will wrap up with a panel discussion on how the “Turbulent business markets” can be shaped using tools and examples.

The seminars aims to identify the problems in communication in conducting effective business activities and introduce best practices about how effective communicating can be ensured. The seminar is open to students, business professionals, researchers, employees, leaders, trainers and entrepreneurs.
